birkle IT is looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead and support our software development teams in delivering impactful, high-quality solutions. You’ll work closely with clients, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure that projects run smoothly – from kickoff to final delivery.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on role focused on communication, clarity, and results. Your goal is for the projects to be completed on time, within scope, and on budget, achieving client satisfaction. During the pre-sales process, you will ensure solutions are technically feasible and align with client requirements.

How You’ll Make an Impact?

Project Leadership & Coordination
Take full responsibility for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software development projects.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate client requirements into actionable development plans.
Monitor progress, manage risks, and remove blockers to keep timelines and budgets on track.
Collaborating with designers to align on user experience and interface details
Having daily standups with the team to ensure the project is on track and working correctly
Assisting in the planning and tracking of project milestones
Creating, updating, and managing tasks in Jira (including story points and priorities)
Writing and maintaining project documentation in Confluence to keep the team informed and aligned
Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Set clear expectations and ensure smooth information flow between technical teams and stakeholders.
Host regular updates, demos, and retrospectives with all involved parties.
Process Development & Continuous Improvement
Champion agile and iterative development processes, adapting them to project and team needs.
Help improve internal workflows, reporting practices, and project tracking methods.
Encourage a feedback-driven environment and contribute to a culture of learning and transparency.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in IT project management or technical delivery roles (ideally in custom software development), including resource allocation, timeline management, and budgeting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English (German is a bonus).
- Comfort in working closely with software engineers and understanding the basics of the development lifecycle.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or other modern PM tools.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and hybrid project environments.
- A problem-solving mindset, high level of ownership, and ability to keep teams and stakeholders aligned.
Bonus: Any formal certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) or a background in tech, business, or product management.
