Role Overview
As the AI Transformation Engineer, you will not only lead our AI strategy but also directly work on developing and implementing AI and machine learning solutions. You will collaborate with leadership, technical teams, and clients to identify AI-driven opportunities, build solutions, and ensure seamless integration of AI technologies across the company’s offerings. Your work will position birkle IT as a leader in AI-driven software development and consulting.

Strategic Leadership & AI Adoption
Define and implement the company-wide AI strategy, integrating AI into our software development and consulting services.
Identify AI-driven opportunities and develop tailored solutions, from concept to deployment, with a focus on machine learning models.
Collaborate with leadership to define AI-powered products, services, and business models.
Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and evaluate their potential impact on software development.
Implementation & Technical Oversight
Directly develop and integrate AI/ML models, tools, and workflows into ongoing and new projects.
Work closely with engineering teams to deploy AI-driven solutions effectively.
Maintain focus on ethical AI practices and ensure AI solutions are scalable, responsible, and aligned with company standards.
Develop and enforce best practices for the adoption of AI technologies across various projects.
Business Growth & AI Consulting
Work with sales and marketing teams to position AI as a core service offering and solution for clients.
Provide AI consulting for clients, guiding them in implementing AI strategies and solutions that drive business value.
Establish and nurture partnerships with AI vendors, startups, and research institutions to stay at the forefront of innovation.
Contribute to AI thought leadership by writing whitepapers, giving talks, and sharing insights through blogs and publications.
Organizational AI Readiness & Talent Development
Assess the company’s current capabilities and define the AI-related roles needed for future growth.
Actively participate in the recruitment process, including candidate selection and interviews.
Drive AI literacy and upskilling initiatives across the organization to ensure teams understand and can work effectively with AI.
Mentor and support AI teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
What You Bring
- Proven hands-on experience (5+ years) in AI strategy and machine learning implementation in a technical environment.
- Expertise in AI/ML technologies, frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.), and real-world applications.
- Experience in leading AI transformation within a software or consultancy business, with direct involvement in the development and deployment of AI solutions.
- Understanding of AI ethics, governance, and compliance, ensuring responsible AI practices.
- Ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders clearly and confidently.
- AI/ML certifications (e.g., Google AI, AWS ML, Stanford AI) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Passion for AI and its ability to transform businesses and industries.
