Yesterday, the 4th of November 2020, birkle IT Estonia and 11 other organizations made the value-based step and signed the Estonian Diversity Charter.
Inclusion and diversity are important topics for us at birkle IT. We aim to continuously promote diversity and equal opportunities among our clients, partners, employees, and candidates. As of yesterday, we are happy to be a part of 130+ amazing organizations in Estonia that are doing the same. These organizations form a community in order to mutually share experience and promote equal treatment both in their own working environment and in society.

Our HR Manager Arina explained our motivation to join the Charter: ”Joining the Diversity Charter is a very important step for our company. We employ people from different parts of the world, of different ages and genders. All have the same opportunities in our company, and everyone respects the values and culture of each other. Despite our constant growth, maintaining diversity is one of the most important missions in birkle IT.”
Similar diversity networks operate in 24 countries in Europe. In Estonia, the Diversity Charter was initiated in 2012. The activities related to the Charter are coordinated by the Estonian Human Rights Centre.
